Poor weather and road conditions on Thursday morning resulted in school closures and a number of delays for Government offices and businesses on PEI.
Travelling was tricky with snow-covered and slippery roads, and reduced visibility with blowing snow.
All classes in the Public Schools Branch and French Language School Board are cancelled.
All Holland College locations will open at noon Thursday, except for Georgetown Centre, which will remain closed for the day.
UPEI will open at 12:00 pm (noon) at both the Charlottetown and St. Peter’s Bay campuses.
All provincial civil service offices Island-wide will be opening at 10:30 a.m.
