The City of Charlottetown is giving residents, businesses and others a final chance to discuss the latest draft of the City’s Official Plan. A public meeting will be held on February 13th at 7 p.m. at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel. The City’s Official Plan establishes general land use planning policies and ensures coordinated growth. In 2022, the City initiated a review of its current plan, which was adopted in 2005. The process included three previous phases of public consultation. The latest draft of the official plan is available online at charlottetownhall.ca. It’s expected the final draft will proceed to City Council later this spring to be approved.
