Demolition of former financial building in Downtown Charlottetown underway

On Monday, demolition of the former financial building at the corner of Kent and Great George Streets moved into high gear.  The area has been cordoned off since mid-January, and on Monday the building was being torn down.  The building is being demolished to allow for the building of an 8-storey,  85 Unit apartment building .   Vehicle lanes are reduced in that area and pedestrian access is also restricted.
