The City of Summerside is inviting residents to participate in a discussion about the future of the City’s electricity system. It says that with increasing energy demand, the need for cleaner energy solutions, and the upcoming decommissioning of aging diesel units, the City is exploring sustainable, resilient, and cost-effective options aligned with climate goals.
Residents will have an opportunity to share input and priorities for clean energy solutions. The Public Information Session is being held on Wednesday, February 5th at 6:00pm at the Veteran’s Convention Centre at Credit Union Place.
