Matt MacFarlane to seek Green Party leadership

Borden-Kinkora MLA Matt MacFarlane has announced he’s running for the Leadership of the Green Party of PEI.  The Green Party announced this week that it will be holding a leadership convention on June 7th.  MacFarlane was elected to the provincial legislature in a byelection held in February 2024 in District 19 Borden-Kinkora.   MacFarlane serves as the Third Party Critic for Health and Wellness; Justice and Public Safety;  Agriculture;  Workforce, Advanced Learning and Population; and Fisheries, Tourism, Sport and Culture.
