Premier King shares with First Ministers the message Team PEI has heard in trade mission to U-S

Following Wednesday’s meeting in Ottawa with Prime Minister Trudeau and the other Premiers, Premier Dennis King said he was able to discuss with them the consistent message Team PEI has been hearing this week on its trade mission to the Northeastern United States.  King says that in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, PEI’s industry representatives and elected officials have consistently heard this week that there is no support for President-Elect Donald Trump’s proposed tariff on Canadian products.  King says Americans, much like Canadians, do not want to have to pay more for groceries, utilities and services.
