Summerside Police now equipped with soft Interview room for victims and witnesses

Summerside Police Services has introduced a Soft Interview Room for Victims & Witnesses.  It’s designed to be a safe, comfortable space designed for victims and witnesses to share their stories without fear.   With calming colours, soft lighting, and comfortable seating, the room helps reduce stress, especially for those impacted by trauma, intimate partner violence, or abuse. It also includes an eagle feather for smudging, fostering a deeper connection with Indigenous communities.
