The Summerside Western Capitals blanked the Valley Wildcats 8-0 on Saturday. Today, the Western Caps are in Yarmouth to face the Mariners.
An overtime win for the UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers as they beat Saint Mary’s 2-1 on Saturday.
The UPEI Men’s Basketball Panthers downed Saint Mary’s 81-64, while the Women’s Basketball Panthers lost 63-39 to the Huskies.
Bee Two Bee rallied from mid-pack to score an open-length victory in the Preferred Pace Saturday at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. Jason Hughes was in the bike as they stopped the clock in 1:55.3
In the Quebec Maritime Junior Hockey League, the Charlottetown Islanders are on the road in Cape Breton to play the Eagles at 3:00pm on Sunday.
