Western Hospital closing Emergency Department early Saturday January 4

 Health PEI advises the Emergency Department at Western Hospital is closing for the day to new patients, effective immediately, due to overcapacity. The Emergency Department will reopen tomorrow, January 5, at 8 a.m. as scheduled.
