Tip leads Summerside Police to suspected impaired driver

At about 5:20 pm on Saturday, Summerside Police responded to a call about a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle on MacEwen Road and conducted a traffic stop.  The driver, a 46-year old Summerside area man was arrested at the scene and later provided two breath samples which police say were determined to be more than twice the legal limit. The man is facing impaired charges and a driving suspension was issued.
