Two taken to hospital after three vehicle collision in Albany involving loose cattle

East Prince RCMP, Borden Carleton Fire Department, Island EMS and the Department of Transportation all responded to a three-vehicle collision on Route 1 in Albany shortly before 6:30am Friday morning.  The RCMP says the collision involved a cement pumper truck and many cattle that were loose from a nearby farm.  Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.  The RCMP had the road closed for several hours to allow for the overturned cement truck to be right and for the scene to be cleared.  The RCMP reports that two cattle were killed in the incident and the investigation is continuing.
