A two year sentence was handed down Friday in PEI Supreme Court in Charlottetown for a young teenage man in connection with the death of 17-year old Tyson MacDonald in December of 2023. The teen was originally charged with First Degree Murder in Tyson’s death, but in October he pleaded guilty to Manslaughter and Interfering with Human Remains. Tyson was reported missing on December 14, 2023 and his remains were found in Kings County after a six day search. The sentence was a joint recommendation from the Crown and defence.
