A Charlottetown man was handed a 12-month sentence Monday on drug charges. He was arrested in December of last year during a targeted traffic stop by RCMP that was the result of a three month investigation. He was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking. During the arrest, thirty grams of methamphetamine was seized. RCMP say that to put that in context, 0.01 grams is commonly considered one dose of methamphetamine.
