Souris man facing numerous threats and extortion charges

A Souris man, who has been the focus of six RCMP investigations, is facing a number of threats and extortion charges.  Police say the investigations resulted in charges in connection to four victims, all of them known to him.  The RCMP began the investigations this past September, and he was arrested November 6th at his home.  Police searched the home and seized a number of electronic devices. He has been remanded in custody as he is facing charges of Extortion; Fail to comply with a release order; and six counts of Uttering threats.
