Province creating a plan to reduce food waste

The P-E-I government is developing a plan to reduce food waste. Agriculture Minister Bloyce Thompson issued a statement yesterday saying the plan is needed to help the Island deal with issues surrounding food insecurity. The first phase of planning will include public consultations. The government is seeking input through an online survey, which will remain open until August 14.
