Through ACOA, the federal government is providing $210,000 in support to help grow the construction workforce in Atlantic Canada.
The investment is to help the Construction Association of PEI develop and implement an immigration strategy to connect construction companies in the region with immigration expertise, and help them connect with qualified workers at international recruitment events.
The Province, through Skills PEI, is also contributing $160,000 toward the Construction Association’s development of a human resource plan in collaboration with PEI construction employers.
