Inflation figures to be released Tuesday

On Tuesday, Statistics Canada is set to release its January consumer price index report.  Canada’s inflation rate has zipped up and down over the past several months, but has still trended downward as global prices pressures fade and the economy slows.  Economists expect that inflation slowed last month.  PEI’s inflation rate in December was 2.6 percent
