Prince Edward Island will be hosting this year’s Global Sustainable Islands Summit.
International experts and leaders will be gathering at Crowbush for two days in May to discuss climate change mitigation and renewable energy.
Environment, Energy and Climate Action Minister Steven Myers says the government has big goals to reach net zero emissions in the province by 2040.
Myers adds that they want to be a leading force in renewable energy and clean tech worldwide.
