The NHL has named Tourism PEI an official travel destination partner
The three year agreement will provide Tourism PEI access to the NHL and its fans through the hockey league’s marketing digital and social media channels
PEI Minister of Fisheries Tourism Sport and Culture Cory Deagle says the collaboration will allow the Island to use the NHL global fan base to grow and strengthen tourism.
The Tourism Industry Association of PEI says the opportunities are huge to showcase the Island to such a large audience and attract visitors.
The provincial government is paying the NHL $2.5 million for the first year of the agreement.
