KCMH emergency department reopening on Saturdays

Effective Saturday (February 10th), the Emergency Department at Kings County Memorial Hospital is reopening on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Health PEI made the announcement Friday, while saying it continues to work on increasing all staffing levels within the facility to further restore weekend Emergency Department services at Kings County Memorial Hospital. The Emergency Department will remain open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and be closed on Sundays.
