Mary Robinson sworn-in as PEI’s newest Senator

Mary Robinson was officially sworn in Tuesday as PEI’s newest Senator.  Robinson’s appointment to the Senate was announced on January 22nd. Mary Robinson has been a recognized leader in the agriculture industry, having served as the Vice-President of the World Farmers’ Organization, and managing partner of the Robinson Group of Companies, a 6th-generation farm and agribusiness on the Island.  In the Senate, Robinson joins PEI’s other Senators  — Percy Downe, Brian Francis and Jane MacAdam.
