Junior Achievement Prince Edward Island offers free educational programs in the areas of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship to over 5000 Island students from Grades 3-12. Friday, April 11th, with every purchase you make, McDonald’s will donate a portion of sales to help support Junior Achievement Programs in our Island Schools! Tim Hortons Ambassador School Tour Remi Dean is the 2025 Easter Seals Ambassador. She is eight years old and in the third grade at Ellerslie Elementary.  She lives in Freeland with her parents Danielle and Norman, and has a little brother Sully and a little sister Lottie.  Remi is excited to visit every school in the PEI Public Schools Branch and French Language School Board, and to share her story and information about Easter Seals PEI.   She looks forward to meeting everyone and hearing about the activities in your school to raise awareness about inclusion and accessibility and to raise funds in support of our Annual Campaign. It’s one of our favourite times of the year!

Get ready, get set… mark your calendars! ?‍ YYG’s Runway Run is back on May 10 at 9:00 AM - and this year, we’re running in support of Make-A-Wish Canada, PEI helping make wishes come true for children living with critical illnesses in PEI. ?  

The City of Summerside is thrilled to announce that legendary Canadian band Blue Rodeo will headline this year’s Canada Day celebrations with a free concert on the Summerside Waterfront. The Canada Day celebrations will feature a diverse All-Canadian lineup, offering a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages. In addition to Blue Rodeo’s highly anticipated performance, the City is expanding its programming and working closely with francophone and multicultural communities to create a diverse and inclusive celebration. This announcement is part of an exciting Big 4 Days in Summerside, which will kick off with Air Show Atlantic on June 28-29, another major event supported by the Government of PEI. The Canada Day celebrations on July 1 will be the perfect way to wrap up a fantastic weekend of entertainment and community festivities.
