District 19 by-election postponed to Wednesday

Another postponement for the District 19 Borden-Kinkora by-election.  The by-election was to be held on Monday, but with the storm Elections PEI announced Monday morning it was postponed to Tuesday.  However, late Monday afternoon, Elections PEI decided another postponement was necessary and voters will now go to the polls on Wednesday.  Elections PEI says road and weather conditions have not improved enough to conduct a safe by-election as it’s a rural district with many secondary roads that electors would need to travel to get to the polls. The polls will be open on Wednesday morning at 9am and then close at 7pm that night.  Voters unsure of their voting information or location should visit the Elections PEI website at www.electionspei.ca
