RCMP on PEI have made 7 impaired driving arrests this week

RCMP across the Island have made seven arrests for impaired driving this week.  Three of those incidents involved vehicles in ditches in New Perth, Cardross and Alexandra.  RCMP say the driver in Alexandra provided breath samples that were three times the legal limit.  Traffic stops and checkpoints resulted in arrests in Montague, Valleyfield and St Louis.  In Coleman, a tip from the public led to an arrest.  There were no injuries reported as a result of any of the incidents.
