At about 6:00 am on Wednesday, Charlottetown Police responded to a complaint of a man checking cars on Newland Crescent.
Several police units went to the area and located the suspect inside a vehicle. He was arrested and police say a search during the arrest revealed items that were stolen from other vehicles.
A 41 year old Charlottetown man has been charged with theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
