Summerside to host five national championships over next three years

Sport Entertainment Tourism Summerside has announced five National Championships that the City of Summerside will be hosting over the next three years. It’s the first time in the City’s history that the announcement of 5 major sporting events has been made in one day. The events include the 2024 21U Women’s Baseball Canada National Championship; the 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Canada Championship; the 2025 Canadian U21 Men’s and Women’s Curling Canada Championship; the 2025 Ray Carter Cup 15U Baseball Canada National Championship; and the 2026 Ray Carter Cup 15U Baseball Canada National Championship.  It all kicks off this August with the 21U Women’s Baseball Canada National Championship at Queen Elizabeth Park.
