The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission has approved increases in gasoline and diesel prices. The price of regular gasoline increased overnight by 4.2 cents per litre. The price of diesel went up by 2.0 cents per litre. There was no change in the price of furnace oil. Including taxes, pump prices for regular self-serve gasoline now range from 158.2 to 159.4 cents per litre. Diesel costs 198.3 to 199.4 cents per litre. The maximum price for furnace oil is 143.9 cents per litre.
