First Girls & Gender-Diverse Youth Parliament planned for March

Community leaders and the PEI Coalition for Women in Government have opened applications for the first Girls & Gender-Diverse Youth Parliament. Taking place over three days and two-nights from March 7th to 9th, the project will allow girls and gender-diverse youth a chance to discuss the provincial issues that matter most to them.  A Girl’s Parliament was originally planned for March 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic; and the Coalition is grateful for the opportunity to carry the project forward.
