Charlottetown Police charge driver for impaired for being almost twice legal limit

Just after midnight on Saturday morning, a Charlottetown Police officer spotted a vehicle that was previously reported as having a possible impaired driver.  The officer conducted a traffic stop on the Malpeque Road, north of the Arterial Highway, and the driver showed signs of being impaired by alcohol.  They were arrested and the 20 year old Charlottetown man was charged with impaired  after providing breath samples that were almost twice the legal limit..
