Gatineau MP from PEI being named interim Government House Leader

A ceremony will be held at Rideau Hall Monday to make an Islander interim Government House Leader.  Gatineau Liberal MP Steven MacKinnon, who’s originally from Charlottetown, will be sworn in as he takes on the responsibilities on an interim basis for Karina Gould, who’s going on parental leave to welcome her second child.  As Government House Leader, he’ll be responsible for handling the government’s legislative agenda.
