The RCMP held a media briefing Wednesday morning in which it announced that on Tuesday night, the RCMP Major Crime Unit arrested two youths in connection with the disappearance and murder of a 17-year old boy who was the subject of a missing person case. As a result of those arrests, early Wednesday morning human remains were located in an area of Milltown Cross. The remains are believed to be those of the missing teenager, although Police are awaiting positive identification by the Coroner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing and several charges are expected to be laid, including homicide.
