The RCMP has issued an update in regards to Friday’s fatal collision in Marshfield. Police say the 30-year old man who suffered serious injuries in the collision has passed away. He was a passenger in the pick-up truck involved in the collision and is the fourth fatality in the tragic crash. The collision happened at about 6:20pm Friday on St Peters Road in Marshfield. On Saturday, the RCMP reported that early indications appear to show that the driver of a pick-up truck pulled out into the oncoming lane and struck a car head on, and three people in the car died of their injuries. A teenaged boy who was in the car remains in hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the truck was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 20-year-old man from York was arrested for Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Impaired Driving Causing Death. The man will appear soon in provincial court.
