Hundreds of police officers are looking for a 40-year-old man suspected of shooting and killing at least 16 people at a restaurant and a bowling alley in Lewiston. A children’s bowling league was using the alleys when a gunman started shooting, sending panicked bowlers scrambling to hide. He is believed to be a firearms instructor in the U-S Army Reserve, who was committed to a mental health facility for two weeks over the summer because he reported hearing voices and threats to shoot up a military base.
