For a third time last week, the Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant and laid a drug charge.
At 2:00am Friday, the Street Crime Unit searched a home on Bayfield Street, and that search resulted in the seizure of a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, methamphetamine tablets, two replica firearms, drug paraphernalia and approximately $1000 in cash.
A 49 year old Charlottetown man has been charged with Possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking; Possession of methamphetamine tablets for the purpose of trafficking; and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He’s been released with conditions and will soon appear in Provincial Court.
