11:45pm Update:  Maritime Electric is reporting more than 3,100 customers are currently without power in scattered power outages across the Island.  Most are in Charlottetown; central and eastern PEI. Maritime Electric crews are working to restore power.  To report outages, call 1-800-670-1012 or report online to Maritime Electric.
