Charlottetown’s Planning Board recommends council approve overdose prevention site for Park Street

The City of Charlottetown’s Planning Board is recommending that Council approve a couple significant variance applications.  One is for a one-year, temporary variance to establish an overdose prevention site in the Park Street area. The other is for a one-year, temporary variance to allow Park Street Emergency Shelter to continue to offer services.  The final decision to approve the variance applications will be determined by Council at a public meeting. The applications are considered active until a final decision by Council is made.
