Driver found asleep at wheel by Charlottetown Police charged with impaired

A 28-year old Charlottetown man is facing a court date on an impaired charge after an incident early Wednesday morning.  At about 3:40 am, Charlottetown Police responded to a call about a vehicle on the side of the road on the bypass with the possible impaired driver reported to be sleeping at the wheel.   Officers located the vehicle and determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol and was arrested.
