Poilievre takes aim at Liberals’ carbon tax during visit to PEI

The rising cost of living, specifically the costs Islanders are facing with the federal Liberals’ carbon tax, was a focus for Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre as he visited PEI on Wednesday.  With a gas station in North River as the backdrop, Poilievre was critical of the carbon tax and says the Conservatives would instead work to lower the costs of low-carbon energy alternatives.  On Wednesday night, Poilievre held an Axe the Tax rally at the Cymbria Lions Club.
