Young drives Funatthebeach and Covered Bridge to wins in first two Gold Cup and Saucer Trials

A big night for Scott Young as he drove both winners in the first two Gold Cup and Saucer Trials on Saturday night at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.   Funatthebeach and Young won Trial #1 in 1:50.4.  Also qualifying for the final were Roll ‘Em (Marc Campbell) and Twin B Tuffenuff (Gilles Barrieau).  The young was in the bike to guide Covered Bridge to the win in Trial #2 in 151.2. Also qualifying for the final were American History (Dale Spence) and Bee Two Bee (Jason Hughes).  Trial #3 is Monday night and Ocean 100 will have the live race call.
