Fall lobster fishery opened Sunday morning

The fall lobster fishery in the Northumberland Strait got underway Sunday.
Poor weather delayed the scheduled opening for Lobster Fishing Area 25, which for PEI stretches from North Cape to Victoria-by-the-Sea.  Traps were originally supposed to be set on Wednesday, but high winds kept boats tied up.  There is an agreement that there will be no lobster fishing Sunday —  just the setting of gear.  Lobster fishing will start Monday at 4am.
