There was a fire Wednesday night in the Alliston area, forcing a family of five from their home on Peter’s Road.
There were no injuries as the fire caused mostly smoke damage inside the two-storey house. The fire was reported about 7:30pm Wednesday night.
The couple and three children are staying temporarily with friends and are being helped by Red Cross volunteers with some emergency purchases.
