A Green Meadows man was arrested on impaired driving charges after being 4.5 times over the legal limit for alcohol on Wednesday afternoon.
Kings District RCMP say the 42-year old man was arrested after providing breath samples after receiving a report of an impaired driver from the public.
RCMP Constable Gavin Moore, the Mounties Media Relations Officer says it’s rare to see numbers that high andi it’s very dangerous to be driving at that level.
The Provincial Traffic Unit assisted in the investigation.
The driver will now face a court appearance.
