Cardigan MP Lawrence MacAulay is the new Minister of Agriculture and Agri-food announced in the cabinet shuffle in Ottawa. His old portfolio as Minister of Veterans Affairs will be taken over by Ginette Petitpas Taylor.
MacAulay did not attend the swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday in Ottawa because of the death of his brother Jim.
Gudie Hutchings becomes the new Minister Responsible for ACOA.
Diane Lebouthillier is the new Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.
