It’s been a record-breaking month as far as the temperature is concerned on PEI. Environment Canada says the average temperature counting daytime highs and nighttime lows has been 22.
That’s over 3 degrees higher than normal in July and half a degree above the old record set in July, 1947. Warmer water temperatures in the Atlantic is a main factor.
