Several charges have been laid after a 26-year old man barricaded himself inside a Hunter River apartment on Sunday afternoon before surrendering to the RCMP with the help of a negotiator.
Logan David Tyrone Allen was taken into custody once the incident was over.
He faces charges of assault, breach of probation, pointing a firearm, possession of a non-restricted firearm which is prohibited and other weapons charges while being under court order.
Allen is scheduled to appear in court again today. The investigation is ongoing.
