Karla Bernard will be the Green Party’s new interim leader.
The MLA for District12,Charlottetown-Victoria Park takes over from Peter Bevan-Baker who announced he was stepping down at the party’s annual general meeting, last month.
The Green Party’s provincial council made the decision to make Bernard the interim leader.
The provincial council says Bernard brings a wealth of experience and strong track record of leadership to her new position and will build on the success of Peter Bevan-Baker.
