Roll EM and driver/trainer Marc Campbell won Saturday night’s big race at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway – the 55thedition of the $35,000 Governor’s Plate, presented by Summerside Chrysler Dodge. They won by five lengths in a time of 1-51-and-4 for owners Brady Doyle and Savage Stable of Stratford, Brent Campbell of Charlottetown and Ryan MacLeod of Souris. It was a big night for Campbell, who drove seven winners on the 16-dash card.
There are two games in the Kings County Baseball League Sunday. The Chevies play the Clippers in Cardigan and the Bombers face the Brewers in Morell.
