The Snowbirds will make one final appearance over Charlottetown Harbour this afternoon at 2.00.
They’ve been flying on display over Charlottetown and Cavendish since Thursday.
The Canadian aerial team flew over the Cavendish Beach Music Festival grounds on Saturday evening.
The Canadian Forces Aerial team will perform over 50 different formations with a musical soundtrack that will be heard by spectators. The soundtrack is through Ocean 100 and Hot 105.5 on our Facebook pages. Stingray is a media partner of the event.
Part of Charlottetown Harbour will be closed today to all marine traffic except for authorized personnel and emergency services from 1.30 to 3.00 during the Snowbirds event. The Marine Exclusion Zone is between Charlottetown and Stratford.
An Islander is a member of the Snowbirds. For Corporal Avery Arsenault it’s a dream come true to participate with the aviation crew on and over the Island. She an aviation technician and has been with the Snowbirds for six years. The former Three Oaks High School student in Summerside says its amazing to fly over PEI.
It’s the first the Snowbirds have flown over PEI since 2018.
