An exhibit marking the 150th anniversary for Prince Edward Island has been launched by the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation, in partnership with Canadian Heritage and the City of Charlottetown. The photo exhibit will be installed at Beaconsfield Historic House on Kent Street in Charlottetown during the months of July and August, and showcase the rich history of the Island, commemorating 150 years since PEI joined Confederation as Canada’s seventh province. It is also simultaneously being displayed in Ottawa until October. The official launch event will take place on Monday, July 10th, at 2:00 pm and admission is free for the public.
