The Sox led 6-2 as Rafael Devers hit a run homer and an RBI single. Justin Turner homered in the 9th after picking up an RBI double to put Boston up, 3-2.
George Springer and Bo Bichette homered for the Jays. Toronto is a half game out in the wild card chase.
The Yankees split in St. Louis. They lost 11-4 in a rain delayed game but won the nightcap, 6-2.
Seattle over Tampa Bay, 8-3. J.P. Crawford and Teoscar Hernandez homered for the Mariners.
Minnesota shutout Baltimore, 1-0 behind the pitching of Bailey Ober. Joey Gallo homered in the 4th.

The Charlottetown Islanders improved to 12-2 in the New Brunswick Senior Baseball League sweeping a doubleheader from the Saint John Alpines.
The first place Isles won the opener, 2-0 as Brady MacDonald fired a three hitter with 11 strikeouts.
Jordan Stevenson got the win in the second game on a four hitter with 10 K’s. Nick MacPhail drove in two runs.
The Islanders are in Moncton, tonight in their first meeting this season. Chjarlottetown has won five in a row.
Winnipeg improved to 3-1 in the CFL, downing Montreal, 17-3.
The Toronto Maple Leafs lost six players to free agency on Saturday but did sign Ryan Reaves to a three-year contract. Among the losses were Michael Bunting, Justin Holl and Luke Schenn.
Island native Josh Currie signed a one-year, two-way contract with Pittsburgh.
Century Invictus with Jason Hughes behind won the feature in harness racing at Red Shores in Summerside on Canada Day in 1.55/4. Dale Spence drove four winners on the card including Melody Maker in 1.56/2.
